Adoptable Cats
The Solano Feral Cat Group has joined forces with Solano County Friends of Animals to rescue as many homeless kittens and cats as possible in our county. We do not have a shelter location. All of the kittens and cats we rescue are fostered and socialized in volunteers' homes. As a result, we get to know our cats and kittens very well, and can provide detailed personality descriptions to prospective homes. Most of the kittens we rescue are pulled from feral cat colonies. As such, we immediately put the kittens through a rigorous course of Kitty Charm School 101 to work on their attitudes. Once a kitten graduates from Kitty Charm School, they are then ready for their forever home. Socializing feral kittens is a labor of love and very rewarding. In the past 2 years alone, we have fostered, socialized, adopted out more than 300 kittens, most of them were rescued from feral cat colonies. We are always in need of foster homes. The more foster homes we have, the more kittens we can rescue. Not all of the kittens we rescue are from feral cat colonies. Some of the cats we have rescued were abandoned stray cats and kittens. We also rescue kittens from the Solano County Animal Shelter on a space available basis. If you are interested in fostering kittens please let us know! The cats need you!
